A few years back, the Westfield city leadership began talking about creating a destination space with a commercial presence to not only expand the city's offerings, but also to trigger the growth of a much needed business tax base. Well, they hit the ground running and never looked back.

Grand Park Sports Complex will be the best of its kind, offering approximately fifty playing fields including baseball, soccer and lacrosse facilities and eventually an indoor space that can be used for basketball and year round events.  It is a business that will henceforth draw new revenue into our fair city. The goal of the city and the private developers who created this concept is to create a market that will be extremely attractive both to companies and to other organizations looking to capitalize on the 500,000 annual attendees to events. Also, they propose to provide support services to the industries involved. Someone has to feed these families and someone has to sell them a new bat for the next game. We anticipate an influx of restaurants and hotels that will be required for an expected 50,000 out of state visitors spending an estimated $12M per year on food, gas and lodging.

The Need

     No. Even though our focus is primarily on the Grand Park Sports Complex's immediate surroundings, we are not directly affiliated with the project. The city of Westfield has spearheaded this huge development and over time several developers will begin to take over different aspects. Eventually the city will not be involved at all. What we are providing is a private service in order to remove all of the confusion that comes with the early stages of a great project. We will have the most direct and current information to guide you through your project.

  • When will Grand Park Sports Complex be complete?

    As with any major re-development and city project, it will all be based on demand. The city has taken the initiative of breaking ground and laying out the infrastructure in late 2011.   • We already have a Realtor listing our site, can we still be involved?

    Of course. We have several programs available to place your property right were it needs to be for best access. Of course your Broker is marketing it to the public on the MLS and several other outlets, but we will be marketed by and for the end users and developers.
